Product Description
Use of Airspace Toolkit is an automated planning and visualisation system for the use of airspace by civil and state aviation aircraft as well as unmanned aircraft systems (UAS)/ unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) within the boundaries of the flight information region (FIR) or dedicated area of responsibility. UAT has implemented the concept of unconditional servicing of all kind planned air traffic flows. To avoid overloading sectors when controlling the air traffic and provide system users with planned and actual information about air traffic within the dedicated airspace the UAT has tools to automatically detect potential traffic flows of sectors and areas at all stages of planning and, based on the data obtained, to develop plans for organizational and technical measures to avoid potential air traffic flow conflicts within the portions of dedicated airspace. UAT provides automated collection and processing of planned information on regular and irregular flights of civil aviation and state aviation as well as UAS/UAV flights performed within the portions of airspace and dedicated areas.
Modular solution, that provides an array of useful subsystems .

Automated Solution for
- Reception of information from airspace users (aircraft operators) – in ICAO message formats (ICAO Doc 4444 Flight Rules and Air Traffic Services) and ADEXP
- Airspace configuration management
- Airspace information management
- ATS units/area capacity management
- FPLs and applications management
- ATC unit workload/air traffic load management in selected areas
- FPLs and applications analysis and report generation
- Cartographical FPLs, applications, airspace restriction analysis and predicted “conflicts” report generation
Situation Analysis
- Simulation of aircraft movement and development of the air situation in a given portion of the airspace area (zone) in an accelerated time scale according to the planned information (the formation and display of dynamic air situation
- Detection of potential conflict situations between aircraft and zones of restrictions of the airspace in the process of “simulating” the planned air situation based on received FPLs or applications
- Dialogue mode on the “admissibility” of the developed solutions for changing the flight conditions of aircraft (speeds and flight levels of aircraft/UAS/UAV, departure times (entry to the area), flight routes of aircraft aircraft/UAS/UAV) in order to prevent potential conflict situations
- Retrieving data, formed on the basis of archived actual data on flights, and comparing them with planned data in the same period (on the same days)
Information Exchange
- Reception from the central control centres through devices for interfacing with AFTN/AMHS channels
- Exchange of planned information with ATM systems via dedicated communication channels
- Transmission of planned information through other dedicated channels using standard protocols
Equipment
- Data processing equipment
- Workstations
- Communication equipment
- Network and auxiliary data transmission equipment necessary to ensure the automated collection, processing, display and exchange of data for performing of ATFM tasks and coordinating the actions of various bodies working with their functional tasks
Subsystems
- The structure of the UAT includes the functionally software supporting all subsystems operations.
- The application software of the UAT has a modular structure and consists of the following subsystems integrated into the local computer network of the Customer:
- Flight planning subsystem in the area of responsibility of Civil ATS Units
- Flight planning subsystem in the area of responsibility of Military ATS Units
- Subsystem providing exchange between en-route/terminal charges system
- Coordination and flight support subsystem in the area of responsibility of the Units
- Subsystem for providing information exchange between UAT and ATM systems
- Subsystem “Web Application” for submitting applications (plans) for flights and ATC related messages through the Internet
